23 Jan Day 19 – Applying God’s Promise
Applying God’s Promise
By Glenn Morgan
If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
Throughout the Bible we continually see God telling us to get the Word on the inside of us. The reason we are to get the Word in us is so that when issues arise in our lives we know how and what to ask for, based on what He has promised. From the beginning of time we were given great and precious promises, and it is His will to fulfill every one of them in our lives! Promises of health, prosperity, deliverance, protection, promises to have children, restore relationships and many others. However, it is our responsibility to find the Word (His promise) so that when we ask for what we are in need of, we can be confident according to what He has promised us. Then God can perform His Word in our lives.
Through this time of prayer and fasting, and beyond, let’s remember to be studying the Word so that we can ask for and receive all that God has for us according to His promise, and be all that God has called us to be.
