I just finished speaking at our church service today, Friday Groceries. It became clear to me that there’s a pivotal aspect to the strength of this ministry tool of our church: FREQUENCY.
At Guts Church, we meet together often. It’s not an every once in a while, it’s frequent. The Bible is clear:
Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Let’s not give up the habit of meeting together. Instead, let us encourage one another. A habit is something we do with frequency. You don’t do a habit occasionally. You do a habit frequently. You do it over and over and over.
The why is evident, we need encouragement. Life can throw haymakers; God’s counterpunch to these is church, where we assemble together and lift up the Name of Jesus.
I need encouragement, you need encouragement, and thousands of others within our reach desperately need encouragement.
Frequency matters, our habits matter. Let’s build a church the gates of Hades can’t prevail against!
