12 Oct Guts Church Turns 19!
I love Guts Church! It has changed my life in so many ways. Bill and I started Guts Church 19 years ago. The first reason I love Guts is the uncompromising Word of God that is taught and we live by. Nothing watered down. We stand on God’s promises. We are a church for the unchurched. We want the ones who have been overlooked or wouldn’t attend a “traditional” church. We love the underdogs. I love the people. Normal people, servants that are ready at a moments notice to do whatever is needed. I love that we are a team. Everyone plays their position to fulfill God’s plan. I would go to war with our people. I love that we have an altar full of people every service giving their life to Jesus. I love that people are prospering and getting better in every area of their life. I love the outreaches we do. The Nightmare takes back October, a month that is usually filled with fear but gives the answer. The Motorcycle Rally feeds the island of LaGonave, Haiti for a year. It provides a school, hospital, church and water wells for clean drinking water. I love that Team Relief is ready for any disaster or helping single moms with honey-do’s. I love Friday Groceries that gives free groceries to anyone that comes. I love our kids and teenage ministries that have prepared my own children and thousands of others to see God in a real, relevant way and prepare them for their futures. I love Sub30. In my opinion, the most fun service and people at Guts. I love the music, second to none. I love Second Mile training along with the bible studies that train and equip everyone to make a difference. I love that our property has an Urban feel. Comfortable for anyone to walk in the door. I love that my husband is the pastor. He was born for this. My favorite is our name, Guts Church. It takes Guts! Enough said.
Happy 19th Birthday Guts Church,
I love you,
