6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
• Better covenant established on better promises
• The Word is our mediator of this better covenant
• We have to continually have a generous supply of God’s Word in your heart.
18 Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law.
Revelation of God’s Word, His Promises, brings:
• Insight into God’s heart
• New Perspective
22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
39 He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour).
43 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “ Follow Me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” 46 And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
1. New life
2. Spiritual perspective
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
You have a reason to be thankful and rejoice.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
