Ministry Through Contact | Hitman
What if ministry didn’t wait inside the church—what if it showed up on the field?
In this powerful Guts Church Podcast, LT (Lorenzo Thomas) sits down with Pastor Bill Scheer, founder of Guts Church and the Hitman Program, along with Chris Hart, GYC director and longtime Hitman leader. Together, they unpack the story, mission, and generational impact of one of the most effective outreach programs in the nation—Hitman, a ministry that brings the Gospel straight into high school locker rooms, sidelines, and Friday nights.
They share:
• How Hitman started in Southern California and became a Tulsa legacy
• Why the program reaches coaches, athletes, and families alike
• What it takes to earn influence inside schools
• How consistency builds trust and changes culture
• The power of serving instead of trying to be seen
• The generational handoff of leadership through faithfulness
• Why serving through sports can change entire communities
