Sideline Story: Guest Room
The Launchpad: New Guest Center
A place to land, connect, and take your next step
Walking into a big church for the first time can be a lot. You do not know where to go, you do not know who to talk to, and you definitely do not want that awkward moment where you feel like you are on your own. That is exactly why the New Guest Center exists. It is a dedicated space built with one goal in mind: help new people feel known, seen, and connected fast.
And the vibe is not pressure. It is the opposite. It is casual conversation, friendly faces, and the chance to breathe and realize you are not alone here. You can grab coffee, meet someone in a similar season of life, and walk out knowing at least one name and one face. That might sound small, but it changes everything. When people return, they are not returning to a crowd. They are returning to community.
For the church, this is a big deal because connection is not a side mission. Connection is the mission. The body of Christ is built when people are known, when people are planted, and when people have a place to belong. The New Guest Center keeps the vision in front of the house, reminding us why we serve, why we invite, and why we make room for more people to come into the family. It is not just for guests. It is for the whole church to stay awake, stay welcoming, and stay about people.
If you are new, this is your next step. Come in, ask anything, meet someone, and get connected. If you have been here a while and you want to build the house, this is one of the most important behind the scenes areas to serve in. It pushes you out of comfort, builds confidence, and puts you right in the middle of what God is doing as He brings new people home.
