What Do You See? | Pastor Bill Scheer

Pastor Bill Scheer brings a Father’s Day message at Guts Church on vision, mission, and purpose.

In this message, Pastor Bill teaches that vision is seeing what God wants to do clearly. Without vision, people drift, cast off restraint, and live reactively instead of intentionally. But when vision becomes clear, mission is birthed, passion grows, and life becomes centered around purpose.

This message also includes a Father’s Day Get in the Truck moment, reminding fathers and parents that raising kids takes time, accountability, challenge, and godly vision.

Message Notes

Vision is seeing what God wants to do. Clearly.

Mission is what we do because we’ve seen it.

Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.

• Without vision, people drift through life.

• With vision, life becomes all about purpose.

Vision:

• What does God want?

• What is worth pursuing?

Mission:

• What do I do?

• What steps do I take?

• What sacrifice do I make?

Vision begins with seeing.

• What you see and pursue is what you become.

• Vision introduces mission and mission produces destiny

• When your vision enlarges, God enlarges your mission.

• And when you faithfully pursue His mission, you step into your purpose.

• Your Vision for this life is born from Good News.

• Godly vision first.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

• Vision

• Mission

• Purpose
