Isaiah 53:5
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

1. Healing Was Purchased at the Cross

• Healing is not an afterthought — it is part of Christ’s finished work.

1 Peter 2:24
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree… by whose stripes you WERE healed.”

• Sin brought sickness into the world

• Jesus bore both sin and its consequences

• Healing flows from the same sacrifice as salvation

2. Jesus Healed in His Earthly Ministry

• Healing reveals the heart of God.

Matthew 8:16–17
“He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were
sick… ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.’”

• Jesus healed all who came to Him

• He never turned anyone away

• He is the same yesterday, today, and forever

3. Healing Comes Through Faith and Obedience

• Faith is trust in God’s Word, not denial of facts.

“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

4. Healing Is for all you have and need.

God heals body, soul, and spirit.
