Don’t let Fear Make Your Decisions | Lee Domingue
You don’t have to wait for fear to disappear before you take the step God has called you to take.
Guest speaker Lee Domingue shares what it means to live with courageous faith—in your work, your family, and the local church. Through his journey in business and ministry, his daughter’s healing testimony, and the promises of Scripture, he challenges us to remember who is with us, stay faithful where God has placed us, and put our faith in motion.
Where has fear convinced you to hold back? What step of obedience have you been waiting to take?
Your courage gives someone else permission to believe again. Take the step.
MESSAGE NOTES
John 16:33
"Take heart, I've overcome the world."
Courage is required. It's not a suggestion. It's non-negotiable.
We're God's response to what's going on in the world, and He's given us everything we need to engage, be the change, and make an impact.
Colossians 1:16
We're created by God, for God.
Anything outside of the Creator who created you will never bring fulfillment.
Faith is not denying reality. It's declaring God's authority over it.
Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's choosing faith in the face of fear.
Your work is a holy calling. Calling is what's in your hand. You can't get to your purpose without being faithful to your calling.
1. Courage is rooted in who you know, not what you have.
Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
2 Chronicles 26:5
He sought God during the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of the Lord. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.
Stay in the lane God called you to. Order always precedes growth.
You can't work up courage. You receive courage when you remember who is with you.
David didn't defeat Goliath because he was the biggest. He did it because he knew the biggest One was on his side.
Courage doesn't come after the miracle. Courage comes before the miracle.
Sometimes you need to tap into somebody else's faith when you don't have any. That's why you need a local church.
Psalm 56:3
When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.
2. Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's faith in motion.
Don't let fear sit in the driver's seat.
Jesus didn't call Peter out of the boat when the water was calm. He called him out in the middle of the storm. That's where faith is forged.
You don't need all the answers. You just need the courage to say yes.
You can't wait for fear to disappear. You move, and fear loses its power.
Courage is saying, "God, I trust You more than my fear."
3. Courage is contagious, but so is fear.
Acts 4:13
When they saw the courage of Peter and John, they were astonished and took note that these men had been with Jesus.
The world doesn't need more talent. It needs more courage.
Deuteronomy 20:8
"What man is fearful and fainthearted? Let him return to his house, lest his brother's heart faint as well as his own."
Your courage gives someone else permission to believe again.
Don't just own the boardroom. Own the living room.
