We believe that bondages are being broken and the presence of God sets people free.
He resists the proud, gives grace to the humble.
James 4:6-8
6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
The Kingdom of God works separate and different to the world’s system.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Our ability in the Kingdom is determined by a renewed mind.
Romans 12
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The renewed mind is imperative to living effectively in the grace we’ve been given.
Grace changes our position, but the renewed mind changes how we live from that position.
Grace requires a renewed mind.
Grace gives you what you could never earn.
Faith receives what grace provides.
A renewed mind teaches you to think in agreement with what grace has already made available.
Ephesians 4
22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Mercy rescues you from the judgement you deserve.
Grace enables you to get all the goodness & power to live the God-kind of life, His favor.
Hebrews 4:2
For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
