1:09 I used to put I used to put makeup on cuz we shot TV. I guess we still do, but uh I was in the back of the church back
1:16 in the old building and this old biker came up and said, "Preacher, you got makeup on?" I'm like, "I'm not wearing makeup ever again." They did it. I will shine.

1:40 We're in a series right now called Get in the Truck with Pastor Bill, which is basically how you say you raised your kids, Taylor. Get in the truck.
1:48 Uh, obviously the ending window or the the in what's the word I'm looking for?
1:52 the the concept is is this is where you really download and you're able to [clears throat] open up and get to the heart of people. So, that's kind of what Wednesday nights are right now is taking
2:00 your content, your messages, and we're just going to dive into that a little bit deeper. Um, you kicked off tonight with a verse that I wanted to start with
2:09 from Sunday that you had and we're talking about the difference of just attending church versus coming alongside
2:16 of God and helping actually build the church, right? And they're two different things. One of the verses you shared in 1 Corinthians 15:58, which you just
2:24 alluded to, says, "We have to be immovable, steadfast, always abounding in the work of the Lord." And those words to me aren't somebody who's like
2:33 in a passive position, but they're in the offensive position um describes uh what I think is our culture and DNA
2:41 here at the church. But if you were going to speaking to people maybe who are are new or maybe who've been sitting on the sidelines for a little bit, what is the difference in your mind? And I
2:50 think this is going to help like maybe paint a picture or a vision so people can hit a mark like what's the expectation but what's the difference between someone who attends Guts and
2:59 someone who has really decided that this is my church and I'm going to help. I'm all in is a statement that we use. What are the difference between someone who's attending and I'm here to help build?
3:09 Yeah. I I think it's obvious, but I also think there's a there's a lot of people because there's not a whole lot of drop
3:17 balls or missed assignments or holes in the ministry of the church. So, you can walk in and think, man, what's there for
3:24 me to do? Well, the the idea that's why like for me, I keep it super simple. I was talking to a pastor today that's
3:32 been in he's he's been here or excuse me he's been in ministry for probably 50 years and has pastored a big church
3:41 that's not very big now and his community shifted. He's in Northwest Arkansas and he was just asking me he said how do I how do I get back? And I
3:49 said, I I it's easy for me because this there's four generations and I I let
3:56 people know, listen, we're going to push things young because I've watched churches get old and I'm telling you it it doesn't end
4:05 well. And and for him, I said, listen, for like if somebody comes in a visitor,
4:13 what's my first step? Come 15 minutes early, stay 15 minutes late. because somebody's going to include you in a
4:20 conversation, in a in an invite to to a meal to, you know, tonight we've got a a meal out on the on the plaza. That's a
4:28 big deal because what that plaza represents for me is followup. And what those 15 minutes represent to me is followup on each side of the the but
4:36 also then just uh just to show up. But then showing up it the the the the idea
4:43 is we need people to be active. So just attending, man, that's great maybe a couple times, but then the the a church
4:53 that's not progressing and being built is a church probably that's dying and isn't going to make much of an impact.
5:00 So if we're about building the church, it becomes a perfect church because that's what Jesus is doing.
5:05 Yeah. So you mentioned like there's no holes. So maybe the mindset for people to engage is not just to assume, hey,
5:12 who's responsible for that? But maybe it's more what role can I play in that?
5:17 How can I make it better? How could I do more? Just shifting that that mindset to see yourself in the picture. Like tonight, you mentioned the food. Well,
5:25 somebody prepared that food all afternoon. Somebody got it ready.
5:28 And the seed that they swed with that time is going to create opportunities not for us just to eat, but there's going to be hopefully great conversation and connection, which the Bible talks
5:37 about in Ephesians 4:16 is where growth and edification. So there's going to people who are going to be blessed because of conversation over food tonight. But it all started and this is
5:45 simple just from somebody giving time to make quesadillas I think is what we're having tonight.
5:50 Yeah. And it it's just what what can I do something? See that's how you discover the gifting in you. Kaitlin Corain's here in the front row. She's
5:59 the director of volunteers or volunteer coordinator or what I don't know what her title is. Um, but let me tell you,
6:07 she's on staff in that position because Pastor Sandy said, "I want her on the bus." Well, it's really why. She's personable.
6:18 She's friendly. She's inclusive. And And you know what? Very organized. You're You're probably getting texts and and
6:25 calls and emails just about She's keeping track. like if if somebody served and then hadn't served for a while, if somebody hasn't been notified
6:34 or something, she wants to make contact with them and it becomes personal and and that's what I want our culture to
6:42 be. I want this to be a church that Jesus is building, which has been I think our historically that's been our culture. You know, we think about the
6:50 nightmare days, the motorcycle rally, the team relief days that we we've done a lot of, but I know it's an effort right now just sitting as an elder and
6:58 executive uh team member. It is we are making a concertive effort and investment with Caitlyn coming on to
7:05 rebuild our volunteer culture. And I think we want you guys to know that that there's a reset that's taking place right now because it's not volunteering
7:14 isn't just filling a position. It's literally about discovering purpose and calling. And any time people don't understand purpose or calling, there's
7:22 unfulfillment. And not only will the body start stop dying, we start feeling unfulfilled. So there's no life because it's the way that God created us. In
7:30 Ephesians 2:10, this is another verse from Sunday. It says, "For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for
7:36 good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Um, you made the statement, "It's not something that we're trying to get from people.
7:46 It's something God wants for you. Speak to that for a minute and specifically what begins to happen spiritually in us
7:54 when we stop only receiving but we start serving.
7:58 Well, it I I referred in the in before you came up um people are going through stuff.
8:07 Well, the devil wants to cause whatever people are going through to clog that conduit. That's who that's what we are.
8:15 We're conduits of the promise of God. It the the the gift that God has on our lives is isn't for us. It's for somebody
8:22 else. But if I'm going through something, it clogs that up. It inhibits the flow of that. And and you know when
8:30 I when I look at this and I think about the that God has has put something in me before the beginning of time before I
8:38 was born especially but he's put something in me that is going to be activated as I serve his church because
8:46 the church isn't the the the church is isn't just an organization or an organism. The church is a strategy.
8:53 That's why churches are all different that and to reach different people and Sandy and I want to keep that target
9:01 range of people as broad as we can and as as deep as we can as tall as no matter what you're going through man we want to be able to help you.
9:11 So for you personally if I can ask this question what have you learned you've been in ministry 40ish years the church is in the 30s. What have you learned
9:20 personally about God? And how have you seen giftings developed in yourself by serving? Your whole life has been serving. I know we could argue it's your
9:29 job. You get a paycheck, but ultimately you're serving the kingdom.
9:32 Here's how I look at it. Right, wrong, or indifferent. I get a paycheck from the church for for for the church from the church, but not for what I'm doing here.
9:45 And I know it doesn't make sense, but I I I come into the office at office hours. I kick the tires. I've got drive
9:54 by leadership. But what I do here is not what I drive my income. That's not like
10:02 I don't I don't want to raise because I because the altar calls big or because the it's the what I do here and really
10:11 everywhere is the the whole idea is to fill the room that his house may be full. That's the that's the whole idea for everything. Yeah.
10:20 And you know if we look at this I'm serving a debt.
10:26 I'm I'm sitting here with you and and every time I think of you, I'm I'm I think about the debt that I have I owe
10:33 you. So I'm I'm serving a debt for people in here and that be because everything's predicated upon trust.
10:42 So that you're here. I had lunch today with Aiden Tyler that Brian and Kiara
10:48 have loved this house and trusted this house and trusted the leadership where he does. And I'm like, I owe man, I'm
10:58 serving a debt because of the trust people have for what God's doing here.
11:03 Yeah. I would say too, like one thanking you for what you've done in our life. I remember when Hart was the youth pastor,
11:11 youth director at GYC, uh, serving and tearing down the bus barn in the middle.
11:16 Anybody remember the bus barn? It's where the the clean parking lot is over there. And I remember a fight breaking out or something. And Chris started singing Whistle Wh You Work. I can't
11:24 remember what Disney movie that's from, but it was perfect because it diffused the whole situation. Not about him, but I think about those nights nights painting the the ceiling in GYC black
11:33 with Tim Fruits and buffering the floors and you just letting us take on these buildings. And then the next thing was, hey, will you teach in the second mile?
11:40 And I remember that was such a big deal to me. Like fasted and prayed like I don't know if I'm supposed to do this. I talked to Chris and I talked to Beth and it's like I don't think I'm I'm
11:48 qualified. My sister's here. She knows my background. I'm probably not qualified for that. But you have given us opportunity to serve and to volunteer
11:57 and you know now here we are elders found my wife here but just the the culture of the church of serving when you step into it you really begin to
12:05 find your purpose in life so thank you for that but well and church is messy
12:12 ministry is messy I mean the world wants everybody to distrust the church or
12:18 distrust ministry or they're only in it for the money they're only in to be a big like the whole megaurch thing. You understand? When we started, there weren't many megaurches in America.
12:29 Maybe 20. Well, now, my gosh, we're we're we're in a different age, in a different dispensation of the spirit of
12:36 God pertaining church. It's hard to keep churches from getting big now. It really is. You've got to you got to try to to
12:45 suppress growth in the church. And like right now where we are, we're we're in the middle of August. I feel like our church wants to grow right now.
12:54 It's like, you know, I mean, it it's like you got kids and they put on their they put on their pants and their their their
13:03 hem's too short and it's like, oh my gosh, they've had a growth spurt. We got to we got to go out and do something different. We got to get something new.
13:11 And but the idea of church, like you think about it that the whole idea of stewardship, the idea of serving, I'm
13:18 gonna I'm going to talk about serving again. And I kind of laid a scriptural foundation for it last week. This week's
13:26 going to be the context of of of service, like what that what that translates into your life. I mean, what the what the word says. Here's what
13:34 Sandy and I believe. We take care of his house, he'll take care of our house because we reap what we sow. I I I I
13:43 answered the call to make Jesus Lord of my of my life. I felt like that was all me. That
13:51 was none me. It was all God. Jesus said, "You didn't choose me. I chose you." But then there's purpose. And there's there's a mandate. It's funny that word.
14:01 I had the I had the previous mayor contact me about mandates during the the pandemic. And I don't understand
14:09 mandates outside the kingdom. The mandates are designed for the kingdom because this is recess. Nobody made you
14:17 come to church tonight. You're here because you want to. Let me tell you that that that God's heart swells. But
14:25 now, what about the purpose of you being here? And if you find your purpose in church, your purpose in life is going to be fulfilled.
14:32 There we go. Okay. You made another statement that Jesus redefined greatness referring to Mark chapter 10. Um, so
14:40 question, can someone be spiritually mature and have a and not have a lifestyle of serving others? Is that even possible?
14:48 No.
14:50 And that's why in my opinion, can you love God and hate the church? No.
14:57 This is God's idea. Like this is God's strategy.
15:03 So, and I know that that's that might be off limits, that kind of talk, but and I know people have been hurt in church and
15:10 I know people have been disappointed and rejected and the whole deal. It's like, we've got to get over ourselves. And a
15:18 lot of what we go through is the test of our faith. It's not money. It's not health. If you got symptoms right now,
15:27 it's going to test your faith. And the testing of your faith produces what?
15:31 Patience. and let patience have its perfect work that you be perfect and complete lacking nothing. See, the route
15:39 is patience. Well, I' I've never been forsaken. God has always provided. God has never let us down.
15:50 I think serving too is an antidote obviously for selfishness.
15:56 Uh, and then I've got to watch this and I'm sure there's other people in the room because we've been here for so long and we've talked about this in the office. An entitlement mentality starts
16:04 setting in and it's like, man, I've been here. I've done that. I've served. I parked cars. I've been in GYC. We've served as a nightmare. We've done it
16:11 all. And so now it's we don't have to do anything. And most of highlevel people
16:19 that you think are mature, where are you serving?
16:23 Because if you do it to the least of them, you do it to him. So we we got we've got to get low to be the greatest.
16:31 And Jesus redefined greatness that the last will be first. In essence, that's what we've got to reset.
16:38 And and what here's the hard thing about ministry after this amount of time. And I see it in other churches that are even
16:46 have been around longer. Muscle memory takes over. Well, wait a second. We're going to miss God with just operating by
16:54 muscle memory, going through the motions, you know, and you look at you look at people that at at some point OJ Simpson
17:03 was great. Well, nobody says that anymore.
17:07 And be why? He didn't follow the the guidelines of the gospel to be great.
17:15 Yep. And pride comes in with entitlement.
17:20 Okay, let's move on. I want to get to another section of the message that you had on Sunday. Every part or every person has a part to play. And you spoke
17:28 about, we mentioned Ephesians 4:16. Um, but more importantly, 1 Corinthians 12:18. But now God has set the members,
17:35 each one of them in the body just as he pleases.
17:39 If we really believe that verse, then people aren't randomly sitting in this church. It is God-led, Godplaced.
17:48 What does that actually mean? And how does somebody know if they are where they're supposed to be?
17:55 Well, I don't think you know I I think it's kind of like the old song, love the one you're with.
18:04 It's like people that'll say, "Well, we weren't Christians and we got married. I don't know if it's the right person." No, that's not how we look at it. It's
18:12 covenant. And that's the idea about church. Church is easy to leave. It's easy to come and go. It's easy to to shop church if there's no covenant.
18:23 But when if there's covenant now, you and I are in covenant. What's yours is mine. What's mine is yours.
18:30 I' I've never said no to you. You've never said no to me. See, no comes out of the equation. Why? Because we serve a yes God, not a yes and no God. And we
18:39 base our life upon God's promises. So, it's not I'm not asking you to root for the same team or to or to or to drive
18:46 the same vehicle or to to Nobody's tell nobody's nobody here is going to give you give you exact direction for your life.
18:56 That's the Holy Spirit's job. But guess what? There's there's safety to m there's not direction, but there's safety in a multitude of counsel. And if
19:05 you look at it, you get your feelings hurt and you leave. You get offended and you leave. That's that's baggage you're going to carry out of here. It's like
19:12 people that that fail in marriage, get a divorce, get remarried, and expect it to be all diff all all brand new, all different. It's like it's brand new for
19:20 a little while, but then guess what? If you haven't taken care of that baggage that that you brought into that that mar
19:27 that new marriage, it's not going to be any better.
19:30 Yeah. So, a commitment comes first, covenant comes first, and then you start finding that place. And
19:37 Yeah. Well, Ephesians 4:16 again, it's one of my favorite verses. To whom the whole body joined and knit together according to every or the effective
19:45 working of every part, every joint produces growth and edification for the strengthening of itself and love. So when we find that place, we find those
19:53 relationships, a joint, there's a fitting. There's going to it's going to fit. It's going to feel like a fit. And when they work together, that produces
20:00 it produces numerical growth number one and in edification, internal strengthening. It's going to strengthen the body. It's going to strengthen us.
20:07 But then our supply for life comes through that. I think it's a point that you made on Sunday. Like I think about how much so much supply from Beth and I being planted here for
20:16 23 years has come through the people of this church. Not selfishly and hopefully we've supplied to others. But it's this just divine flow, this river of flowing
20:24 of receiving and giving, receiving and giving. And that's the rhythm that I think God wants I know that's the rhythm that God wants to get us in. And it
20:32 comes through being planted. I define planted as we serve. We're consistent.
20:37 We tithe and we give. Those are the things for we talk about Psalms 92:13.
20:41 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of their God. They're h what does it mean to be planted? You're here consistently.
20:47 We're serving. We're contributing. We're not consumers. We're producers. And I'm tithing and I'm giving.
20:52 Well, and I'll hear people and and I'm not judging anybody.
20:59 If you want to say this, say it. How long you How long you going to be at this church? Well, till God moves me. I'm like, I don't know what that means.
21:08 If if you went out walked up to Sandy and said, "How long you How long are you going to be married?" I did it.
21:15 She said, "Bill, don't hit the mic tonight." Okay.
21:22 She's not the boss of me, but uh what was I talking about? Oh, hey Sandy, how long you going to be married to Bill?
21:28 Well, till God moves me on. I'm like, "Put another log on the fire. Come on, man.
21:39 Pick fix me up some bacon and some beans." No one knows that song, I don't think. Go out to the car and change the tire.
21:48 Yeah. It's not very That's not even on Spotify. It's not very um it's not very honoring to the You want to talk about First Peter 4:10?
22:00 Yeah. Well, okay. Yes. Okay.
22:07 Another verse I'd like to point out. 1 Peter 4:10. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another as God
22:14 as good stewards. So, we've talked about stewardship of the manifold grace of God. Peter's not saying here that if
22:22 we've received a gift, he's saying each one of us has received a gift and we have a responsibility to steward it. So, now we've talked about
22:30 spiritual maturity is serving. We are placed in the body where it pleases him.
22:35 And if we're placed where it pleases him and he's gifted us, that means we are here. Our place is on purpose and our gift is on purpose for the place that we're at. Does that make sense?
22:45 Yeah. So, have you watched people you you've done this for a long time, but and you don't have to say names, but who
22:52 have you watched people or or a story maybe you can tell someone who has discovered their gifting that didn't know they had simply because they said yes to serving?
23:04 I know I should have given you a heads up on that one.
23:05 No, that that's the majority of people plugged in here. you.
23:13 I mean, Matt, I met you guys like here was here was our my relationship with
23:20 with Matt and my relationship with with Jayce was they were like this.
23:27 Let's keep it at arms distance.
23:29 I mean, user us to you, huh? Yeah. You stiff arming me. Oh, yeah. Okay.
23:36 No, because it's like I've I've I've danced this dance before. I've been through this rhythm before. I've gone through this before. I' I I I could do I
23:46 could do my life. I could have great life without and then it the the walls
23:52 came down and and the the first the first part of the message Sunday is
24:01 someone's eternity is on the other side of your yes. And I'm telling you that is that's got to be something that we live
24:09 our lives by. Like I had to get up today and say yes. Sandy had to get up today and say yes. There's going to be pulls.
24:17 There's going to be phone calls. There's going to be people people that need help. It's like I just I just need a word. I just need a word. And it's like,
24:25 hey, listen. I've got one. But we got to relax. And what we've got to do, we got to quit stiff arming it. But we also have to let go of the baggage and the
24:33 the the other stuff that the the weight of of that so easily besets us and run with endurance this race that's
24:42 in front of us. Man, I I we don't know how we don't know where that finish line is.
24:49 But I'm telling you, I don't know anybody in this room that's close to it. And that's how we have to look at this.
24:56 And people that that for me people that'll come in maybe some of
25:05 them you got to talk them off that ledge. Okay, why don't you come off the ledge?
25:10 Let's talk about it. Let's live to fight another day. Let's let let let's not make any hasty decisions. I mean, it's
25:20 and then and then I talked to Aiden about this today. find he's just got to find his peace. And he ex exampled to me
25:27 a few different areas of his life where it's like I found my peace. So I made the decision.
25:34 Let me tell you, that's the greatest life imaginable if we're led by our peace because that because the the a synonym of peace in
25:42 the in the Hebrew and Greek is prosperity.
25:47 So God will prosper us and we'll be in health. He'll give us peace and we'll be in health as our souls in peace, as our soul prospers.
25:56 It's not about money. It's all about peace. I also remember one of the stories, one of the most powerful stories I think you've ever shared was
26:05 the girl's mom who came to the church one week after the nightmare. She was killed in a car accident. Yeah.
26:11 She came frantically to the church asking if she had filled out one of those salvation cards. And you guys, I think it was, I remember the name of the
26:20 person, had them all laid out on the floor and they're going through all these cards and somebody like here it is. And every person that volunteered that night had something to do with her
26:28 spending eternity in heaven. And it happened like that.
26:31 Well, that Yeah. a mom coming in. Is there a chance? Because I don't have any idea about her eternity. And these two
26:39 girls that worked in the office were going through all the cards. There was a stack of cards this high. They went through all the cards and I remember I
26:48 just walked in about 10 minutes later the girl picked it up and goes, "Oh my god, here she is." I'm telling you, it
26:57 was hard to breathe. But what we don't know now is every every week tonight that could be the case just cuz somebody smiled at the front door. And I know
27:05 that sounds cliche, but you never know where somebody is in life and where they might tip in this environment could tip them the different direction for all of eternity.
27:14 Well, I remember the people, you guys that aren't familiar with the nightmare, we had a for years we had a tent on the out on the back side of the nightmare
27:22 that you came out and that's where people would would approach you and pray with you. And I I remember hearing
27:31 Taylor standing on the outside of that tent looking through a a seam and anybody that would get through because
27:38 you could get by the ministry people if you if you tried your hardest. you could shuck a jive your way through and and he
27:47 would he would watch them that came through and nobody that avoided prayer and he'd walk them to their truck and I
27:55 said, "How's that working?" He pulled his sleeve up and he put a a pen mark on his forearm. Everybody prayed with his forearm was full of pen marks. I'm
28:04 thinking, man, we're not going to take no for an answer.
28:10 And if you got see that's the mark of a leader. You guys want to be leaders, you find a way. If you want to if you want
28:19 to talk about a reason why it can't be done, you probably have a place somewhere, but you just can't be the leader. Okay,
28:27 we've got I got two more real quick if we can. What would you say to somebody uh who is thinking like these things?
28:34 These are these are fair questions. This is not meant to condemn anybody or make anybody feel bad, but I'm too busy. I've served before and I feel burnt out. I
28:42 don't know anybody. I don't feel qualified. I'm in a season where I just need to be fed. I'll serve when life settles down. These are all things over the years that I think we've all heard.
28:51 Yeah. What would you say to that? None of them fly.
28:57 And yeah, I could be the old school, well, oh, you got an owie, rub some dirt on it and let's go. See, there there are
29:06 things people go through that they have to that it it it may not be an immediate
29:12 get up, but if you stay in church, if you've been knocked down, someone here
29:19 can help you up. Someone here can reach can listen. The word the word says this
29:27 and it applies to us. His his arms haven't shortened and his strength hasn't diminished.
29:33 and our arms haven't shortened. And and let me tell you, after all these years, we're really good at helping people up.
29:42 We're really good. And I'll tell you, for me, I've got a statute of limitations on my memory of people that
29:48 have fallen off or bailed or walked away or and then come back. I'm like, I don't remember. I'll run into people in town
29:57 and and and I I'll see him and I'll think, I don't did I like him.
30:04 Has he has he talked about me? I don't remember. So, there's a statute of limitations and I believe that's godly.
30:11 I do. I think that if you're here and you're not involved, you've got to get involved. And it's not it's not just for
30:18 the church. We trust me, we've proven we could get by without you. But it's for you
30:25 and because where's the next line you're going to pick up? Where's the next precept you're going to you're going to obtain? It's line upon line and precept
30:34 upon precept. And let me tell you, if you're wondering where that is [music] at 8:15 on Sunday morning in the central
30:41 lobby, I'm telling you, God will help you figure it out.
30:45 Also, couple thoughts, too. There's more opportunities to serve here than just on Sunday and Wednesday. Monday afternoon, we're in meetings and I come out and
30:53 many of you guys know Rob Fouch. He's sitting at a table with LT mapping out a calendar for all of Hitman's schedule this year and a communications plan to
31:01 go all the Hitman reps and all the coaches. And I know not everybody has that opportunity, but there are so many other things throughout the week. And with Caitlyn here now, sorry Caitlyn,
31:10 this might create a lot of work for you this next couple days, but there's a lot of opportunities for people to engage with that we need. We do need some help
31:17 on some back-end support in some of the day-to-day activities of the church. So, don't just think parking, seating, and greeting. There's so much more
31:25 opportunities. And I'll say this, too, to develop a serving heart again if you're one of those people. And I've been there. I mean, every one of those
31:33 things I could argue I've said to myself before and have made an excuse, but everything we do is unto the Lord. And when we reposition our heart and our
31:42 mind that everything I'm doing is unto him. And that he's told us that our lives, our bodies are a living sacrifice. All stuff we've heard before,
31:50 but my life and my body is his. My life is a living sacrifice to him. Everything I do is unto him. That begins to shift
31:57 your heart. So if you feel like your heart is cold and hardened, maybe you've been offended. You've been let down here. We all have. I have. We've got to
32:05 reset our minds and reset our hearts with those two attitude positions. It's all to him. It's not It's not to Pastor
32:12 Bill, Pastor Sandy. It's not to first to us. It's we're going to benefit from it, but it's first to the Lord. And that's
32:19 my how he designed it that we are a living sacrifice. So, here's one question and then I'm done and it's yours. And this is the question that you
32:27 posed on Sunday. What has God, this is a question for you. What has God put in me that the strategy of this church needs?
32:37 So, that's the question we asked you to answer tonight and maybe over the next week or two figure that out. and let's work together at getting great at
32:45 finding your place here because you're here on purpose and to tap into your gifting to elevate things that we're doing or maybe do something different that we're not doing.
32:54 Well, I think about the Morgans.
32:57 Glenn was coming to church, was faithful.
33:02 Somehow he procured some kind of buffer that he would wax. We We were in a warehouse. If you're not sure where it
33:11 is, it's a block off of Memorial on 41st Street West. It is as ugly
33:20 and de just in disrepair and and and deferred ma maintained building as there
33:28 is. [music] I go in there, Glenn's buffing that the sanctuary and it looks like [music] glass. I mean, it's
33:37 amazing. And I'm like, "Oh my gosh, how can I help you?" He goes, "Man, just" and we talked and we're visiting, you know, and he he's just [music] chumming
33:45 it up. That's what Glenn does. Tanya walks in.
33:50 Tanya's got her hair all She looked like she had lived had come from Whoville.
34:01 Probably Glamour Shots, huh? Yeah, it was Glamour Shots. and and her hair's all up and she's got this floral dress
34:08 on and I'm like, "Huh?" And and she walked in and started talking to Glenn and I was looking at Glenn and I'm
34:16 looking at Tanya and I'm looking back at Glenn and I'm and in my in my heart I'm thinking we just lost Glenn.
34:26 But then Tanya made the leap to Guts and she's run our business
34:34 office for I don't remember her not running it. And these guys have been
34:41 incredibly faithful and Scott took for 5 years.
34:45 And I'm not a big at a boy guy. So it's not a bunch of gladhanding and patting them on the back and but have been
34:53 faithful and now they're in the front row and they're they're serving God. And that's the kind of debt like if you ask Sandy, she'd say we owe them. And I'm
35:02 thinking about that. I'm thinking cuz I was concerned that Glenn had enough game to to be able to to to stay involved in
35:11 the church and add Tanya to the mix. And he did. So what I know is Glenn's got
35:19 game. And so so it comes in different packages. But um this let let me just tell you
35:29 I couldn't be more grateful than I am for this church and everybody in it. And
35:36 I I know the sacrifice. I know the what you have to get through to get here. I mean this is Wednesday night. This isn't
35:45 I mean this this isn't required of everybody but it it's it's been the as
35:52 big a joy raised our kids here. Our grandb babies are pumped. I mean Trip's showing off a $150 ball card that
36:02 football card that he's showing off at kids church tonight. And I mean I I mean
36:09 I if you if you're wondering what the new fashion trend is, you got to see Doc today. Nothing matches. And he dressed
36:17 himself and I want to dress like Doc now. Um but this has just been
36:24 a an [music] an amazing ride this church and I want everybody to experience it.
36:32 It it it truly is the greatest life imaginable.
36:36 And I want to ask you, is your life right with God? Is Jesus the Lord of your life?
36:43 Because that that's really at at the end of the day, that's all that matters. And and I want to make sure that every time
36:52 we give it come in here, we give someone an opportunity to we refer to it as getting saved.
37:00 And it what it does it it it puts you in the greatest game that's ever been played
37:10 and it's it's the kingdom of God. If you're here and your life's not right with God or you need to make Jesus Lord of your life, do you mind just putting
37:17 your hand up right now? Wherever you are, just put your hand up. I want to pray with you. God bless you. I want to pray for you. Just put your hand up. I'm
37:25 going to ask it two or three more times and then I'll say it's the last time and then I'll do it another couple times.
