YOU’RE NOT ALONE
Proverbs 11:24-25
24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.
25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.
Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them.
17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
• As a church, our vision for 33 years boils down to the great commission…GO!
Luke 10
17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are
subject to us in Your name.”
18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written
in heaven.”
• You’re not alone.
Hebrews 12:1-2
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1. I am a cheerful giver, and God delights in my generosity. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
2. The generous soul prospers, and as I refresh others, I am refreshed. (Proverbs 11:25)
3. I give freely because I have freely received from the Lord. (Matthew 10:8)
4. My heart is willing and obedient, and I enjoy the good of the land. (Isaiah 1:19)
