Winning in the Lion’s Den

Winning In The Lion’s Den

Ephesians 6:13

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able

to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

• You are exactly where you need to be.

• This has become the perfect day to start 2026.

• start trusting God implicitly

• start letting go of limiting thoughts

• start living the purpose God has already placed in you

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good

work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

• Confidence is pivotal in fulfilling God’s purpose going into 2026.

• Prayer and fasting are not religious rituals - they are Godly strategy.

  • Prayer resets our focus. We don’t step into 2026 guessing - we step in Spirit-led.

  • In a practical sense, fasting strengthens our discipline. It teaches us to say no to the flesh and yes to God.

  • Seeking God first will set the order for the year. When we put God first, He can be first in every season. We approach Him as the God of first things.

Practical strategy for the next 21 days:

• Set aside intentional time every day for prayer. Praying God’s promises and in the Spirit.

• A Daniel fast that is wise and appropriate, including denying worldly distractions.

• Fast with purpose - not to earn God’s favor, but to draw closer to Him, which increases favor.

Like Daniel, we don’t fast to stand out - we fast to stand firm. What looks like denial at the table becomes deliverance in the den. The fast trained Daniel to trust God over comfort. It taught him obedience no matter what. It built spiritual strength long before the crisis arrived.

2026

• Our strategy is prayer.

• Our discipline is fasting.

• Our position is standing firm on the Word.

This 21 day fast will help you:

• Cultivate confidence

• Transform your mindset

• Take powerful steps toward the God-kind of life!

What is the Daniel Fast?

The Daniel Fast is a spiritual fast based on the prophet Daniel’s example in the Bible, where he chose simple food and focused on prayer to honor God. In Daniel 1:8–16, Daniel ate vegetables and drank water instead of the king’s rich food, and in Daniel 10:2–3, he fasted from choice foods, meat, and wine while seeking God for understanding. The fast is meant to put ourselves in a place to hear from God by starving our flesh & feeding our spirit-man. Jesus reminds believers in Matthew 6:16–18 that fasting should be done sincerely for God rather than for attention.

To put it simply, the Daniel Fast is about setting aside distractions to grow closer to God through prayer and obedience!
